I recently purchased two of these chairs for a gift and after less than 1 month the wicker wrapping at the base of the gliding mechanism came undone on one of them! Makes it hard to glide now... At the bottom of the chair there are two metal pieces that form the legs of the chair and they are wrapped in the wicker resin. Not a good idea because it causes the glider to not move a smoothly. The other chair works fine. The sides of the chair are a little weak as well could use more support if the wicker was run in a different pattern. Overall, the chairs were ok. I got a great deal on the chairs when I purchased them. I'm waiting to hear back from the vendor on how they are going to handle the issue.
